    Walter Reed NMC is part of a joint base with NSA Bethesda. The two bases are close, allowing for them to share command. All Gates at the JB operate at different times with a different number of lanes for In or Outbound traffic. Please refer to the updated list below for those days and times. Gate 4 to the Navy Lodge is currently Closed until further notice. 

    Gate 2 (South) - Main Gate
    Gate Operation Information: Mon-Fri: 0500-0800 (2 lanes In/ 1 Out)
    Mon-Fri: 0801-1400 (1 lane In/ 1 Out)
    Mon-Fri: 1401-1900 (1 lane In/ 2 Out)
    Mon-Fri: 1901-0459 (1 lane In/ 1 Out)
    Weekends: 0500-0459 (2 lanes In/ 1 Out)
    Pedestrians: 24/7 Inbound/Outbound

    Weekends & Holidays: 0800-1600
    Pedestrians: 0500-1900 Inbound/Outbound
